settings in esa for jake switch with swaped cumming x15
#1
I put a x15 cm2450 from a 2024 wreck into my 2016 peterbilt 579. It had a isx15 cm2350. I've got everything working except the brake switch, clutch switch, and Jake brake switch's. They show up and work on esa but are not communicating with the engine ecu. I'm sure it has to be a setting but I can't find anything. I've tried all the different source addresses on cummins. Currently have them set to 49 cab controller. Any guidance or does anyone have a parameter file for a similar truck  vin is 1xpbd49x4gd203933

You need to set your multiplexing settings on engine ECM to point to the cab controller.
You can find these settings in INSITE > Features and Parameters > Multiplexing.

49 is correct, make sure that the correct CAN channels & baud rates are set.
Newer ECM's use CAN4 while older ones do not. The baud rate is also set different.

There are also parameters set in the calibration that are specific to J1939 communication.
Each calibration likely has different ones set for different chassis.
If I helped in any way, please give THANKS + REP!

The muliplex address where set to 49.  But still did not recognize the switches.   I'll attach the templates
