Hello Mates

I have a Kess V2 5.017 CLONE , trying to connect to Volvo ECU. I tried at least 3-4 different trucks and I keep having the same error "Wake up error". 
I read it under protocol 176 and also try 339. I have original CAT J1939 9 Pin connector, but keep having this issue. Also tried External Reading trough Bench Harness and still no lick. Tried 2 different Kess's without success. Thinking that I might have some wrong connection. Any help guys, any advise?

Trw protocol is 1708 the cat is j1939.. have to use the obd renaultvolvo plug with a 1939 converter to connect to the 1708 side

It's something k17 obd Volvo .. I just read a 2009 Volvo with the cat j1939 .. so I don't really know .you have to power up for at least 5 mins then keep on kess til it goes

I have used both cables to read the Volvo trw 176 no problems obd volvo Lucas 1708 and 9 pin cat

were you able to read full memory ? or just 64kb?

with 9 pin CAT cable only 64KB
