Help 871 chi tables straget

need help with chi table for 871 ive been told to run chi4 all across but would like to know what the other tables do thank you

Alpha0 - cold start also can beused for over-power protection 

Alpha1 - steady operating state - full-emissions+egr operating mode below 4,000 feet.

chi2 - steady state high altitude mode above 1200M


chi3 - steady state for high altitude mode above 2400M

chi4 - non-egr + engine protection mode 


chi5 - non-egr + engine protection mode high altitude 1200M +

chi6 - non-egr + engine protection mode 2400M+

chi7 - passive regen mode

chi8,9,10 - SCR thermal managment modes, SCR warm up etc. altitude base as well

chi11 - aftertreatment fuel rate limiting

chi12 - engine protection/limp home

Chi13 - stationary regen

You should not have to adjust all the tables. This is bad tuning. You should have engine setup to only use the modes and tables you want. Meaning those other tables don’t need changed because they’re not used. If ECM is setup to go into all modes then you’re not doing it right.
